Draught. Clear coppery brown, good thick white head. Slightly tangy aroma, maybe apples. Creamy body with medium carbonation. Fairly tangy fruity foretaste with finish that is moderately bitter and has a malty marmitey lingering taste. Nice beer.

Pint bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish brown with just a thin ring for a head. The nose is fruity iced tea and sweet malt. The taste is caramel, light chocolate covered raisins and bitters in the finish. Thinner mouthfeel and pretty flat. Tastes better than I thought it would from the aroma, but nothing special.

River water brown body, reddish tint along the edges. Diminishing, foamy head and little to no lacing. Medium bodied with a surprisingly hot aftertaste. Nice bitterness although the beer starts out sweet. Strong toffee and tobacco aromas with some prunes mixed in. Raisin and toffee taste with a peaty flavor. Bitterness is there, but little hop flavor. Applesauce aftertaste proves interesting.

A brownish-amber pour with carbonation bubbles that cling to the glass and give off the appearance of ice crystals. Thin beige head. A fruity, malty, and sweet aroma. The mouthfeel is medium-heavy. The taste is bitter but bold with a dryish finish. True to the style.

Cask. Clear copper with a good-sized head. Sweet citrus scent. Quite sweet in the mouth but also watery. Some carbonation. Very malty with mown grass and roasted nuts. Not bad.

Pours a deep copper/brown, without much of a head. The aroma is very malty, with some citrus notes. Heavy, with a sweet malt and molasses flavor. A bit flat in the finish

Pours a murky brown with a very thin white head. Mouth is kind of flat, almost no carbonation. Flavor is complex and hard for me to describe. Very strong roasted malt, some juicy hops, and a little bitter chocolate. Interesting.
