clear dark gold, scant head, light fruity aroma, sweet fruity flavor, a bit of raspy wheat character, some good rich malt brings depth and keeps it from being too much of a fruit wheat beer

On tap at the brewpub on 5/16/07: Pours a transparent effervescent dark golden bronze with a nicely-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet, fruity apricots with a hint of tartness and wheat. Body starts somewhat fizzy and fructose sweet drying out slightly with some earthy, grainy wheat and a touch of citrusy. Decently balanced and drinkable.

Draught at the brewery. Slightly hazy yellow and orange color. Lightly sour orange and grapefruit rind scents. Flavor is similar, with a light tartness present which is particularily nice. Has some light apricot rind and wheat flavors throughout, though stronger and more pronounced in the finish. Lightly tart, lightly biting on the tongue. OK overall, a bit pale and lacking depth, but drinkable, and thankfully not overwhelmed with cheap fruit flavors like so many other fruit beers.

I had this beer over Christmas last year, and was impressed. The apricot flavor is realistic, not phont tasting, and the beer has a good malty base. I would not call it real hoppy. I took a growler to go, and noticed that the apricot flavor intensified as it warmed. This is a solid fruit beer.

Draft at Otto’s. Pours an orange body with a white head. Apricots, and citrus juice. Perfume, and wheat lots of apricot all over this beer. Refreshing with a dry finish.

Dark golden color with a small off white head and nice lacing. Authentic apricot aroma. Smooth wheathy and apricot taste. A delightful fruit beer. This pairs well with the Stilton with Dried Apricot cheese.

I usually dont like these type of fruit beers, but this is an exception. Pours very light gold/orange with a slight haze and good head retention. Aroma and flavor are loaded with real apricot which gives the impression of biting into a fresh ripe apricot on every sip. Good wheat smoothness all the way through. Very well made.

Amazing. Smells like apricot and actually tastes like it, too. Much better than Mag#9. Incredible stuff. Lots of flavor. Buy this brew.
