Ottos Bourbon-Barrel Aged Old Fugget Barleywine

From the handpump. Very, very strong aroma. Can smell the bourbon a mile away. Very pleasant smell. Looks are a dark amber with thin head. Taste is very strong. Heavy notes of alcohol. Has some kick too it but very smooth. Long lingering taste of alcohol. Perfect for a long cold night or after dinner drink. Charlie has made a very fine barley wine. Cheers!

Served from a beer engine. Attractive amber-copper body with a lasting, silky beige head. Aroma of sweet maple, brown sugar, vanilla, cognac, and light smoke and earth. Sweet, deep malty flavor with well-matched bourbon characters. A huge, decadent, and tasty beer.
