Thanks to Adrian. Hazy dark amber pour, small white head. Aroma is strong and smells good, citrus, grapefruit, melon, mango and mango, it’s just smells delicious. Flavor is much the same tropical fruits dominated by grapefruit, but orange, and more melon in the taste, and even some pine and a definite resiny taste. Bitterness is pretty high but tolerable and there is a good amount of caramel maltiness going on to balance it. This is a strong IPA with some damn good tasting hops. Damn good beer.

Lightly hazed orange copper color. Full head of lasting taupe bubbles. I want to say typical, but actually a touch more balanced than typical as of late aromas. Scents of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, along with the zest. Caramel and pale malts drift in and out. Full nose without getting overbearing or overdone. Light pale malt sweetness in the beginning that gives itself up to light citrus, hints of pine and a touch of alcohol. Finish is dry and slightly woody. I find this one to be quite true to form and enjoyable. For me there is something about a "true" IPA that just warms my cockles. Linger has a light nuttiness along with dried malt and oats. Not one that I would enjoy everyday, but after a long journey or day this one, to quote mj, rocks. Thanks to Ty5592 for the bottle.

22oz bottle from Kramer17801. A very interesting take on the style. Not loaded with oily pine resin or intense citrus Rather, the nose is filled with fresh, wet grass, mint, a very unique creme brulee note and lesser aromas of grapefruit and pine. Pours bold, hazy copper with a huge head leaving average lacing. Citrus, pine, creamy (but not overly sweet) malt on the tongue. Rather bitter at first but the malt on the finish balances the hops nicely. Medium, bordering on full bodied. Zesty. Finishes with a blast of spicy hops.

Excellent IPA. Citrus and pine predominate. Full body and lingering bitterness on the palate. Would love to have another bottle.

bomber......apperance of a darker shade of amber brown with a thin off-white head....bitter pine comes through at first in the nose that then lends itself to some grapefruit and a small malt component....flavors of subdued bitter pine and grapefruit. finish comes back to the pine along with some watery malt. overall a little thin maybe.....def worthy of a try.

From a 22oz Bottle. Courtesy of CharlesDarwin. Pours a mostly transparent, dark orangish amber color with a thin layer of tight bubbled, off-white foam. Aromas of orange citrus and white grapefruit hops sit on top of a hefty caramel malt base with a touch of honey. Some fresh lemon zest freshens it up nicely. Medium bodied, softly carbonated mouthfeel. Clean flavors, but the malt character is a bit too chewy for my tastes, and has a heavy mid-caramel malt flavor. After the hefty malts fade, a bold, resiny hop presence takes over, bringing out flavors of white pine sap, grapefruit, and lemon pith. Lots of bitterness, but demonstrates an excellent hop flavor utilization as well. Being an IIPA, the hop flavors are obviously the most critical dimension of the beer, and in this regard, it’s completely satisfying. The caramel, biscuit, and toffee malt presence could be dialed back some to make this feel a bit less plodding on the palate, though. Overall a solid example with a clean finish. Thanks, Tom!
