Feb 19, 2008 This beer is extremely hoppy. Great hop aroma and the flavor is really distinct. Gotta be in the mood to have it, but it’s worth waiting for the right time.

Feb 16, 2008 Thanks to Ken and Ali for this one. Cloudy orange coloring. Aroma has some pineapple, and is sweet like candy. Cotton candy flavor, light bitterness.

Feb 5, 2008 Bomber generously bonused by mj...thanks Mike! Pour is deep copper with the smallest of white heads ringing the glass. Aroma is very hoppy and sweet at the same time. A little bit of honey going on there. Pretty bitter up front with a bready/biscuty feel making it way in after that. Nicely bodied and smooth. Bitter finish.

Feb 4, 2008 Pours a cheesy orange with nice white head. Flowery, citrus nose of hops. Soft flavors, with good malt and a very nice hops bitter finish. Easy to drink...pretty smooth.

Jan 31, 2008 Clear copper with big head. Beautiful nug hop aroma; exactly what I love in a hop. Taste is muddled spicy hops with significant sweet malt. Lots of melon in the taste. Very good IIPA, but never gets better than the aroma.

Jan 31, 2008 22 oz bottle. Cloudy orange with a white edgy froth. Bready orange, light floral and spicy malts. Taste is orange peel, Belgian yeast, quinine and lemon peel. Veins of caramel help balance the hopped up bitterness and acidity. Peppery finish. Medium body with buzzy carb.

Jan 23, 2008 Pours a small thin offwhite head, retention is short lived, of course there is,nt much to be retentative to begin with. Minimal lace, thin, web like. Lightly hazy, copper orange hued brew. Nose is soft with caramel and distant pine and citrus notes, light fruit. Body is medium, under carbonated, lightly oily with an unexpected tartness/astringency. Medium sweet caramel malt flavors, grapefruit, lemony citrusy hop flavors seem subdued, somewhat thin. Finish is fairly dry, lightly fruity and bitter with an unfortunate underlying astringency that keeps making itself known, distracting. Thanks to mj for the bomber.
