Commercial Description:
A big lager brewed in the style of the doublebock. Malty and complex yet remarkably drinkable; this is agreat cold weather beer. Doublebocks traditionaly have twice the ingredients of a normal lager.

Delicious. Deep brown color, medium to full body, and that great bock taste: some chocolate, maybe some molasses, but so smooth. One of my favorites at Ottos.

I think I drank this under a different name, so Ill move the rating when I can remember what it was called. Pours a hazy deep amber/light brown with an ok head but fades. Aroma has lots of deep munich, light roasted and chocolate matls. Gready full flavor, loaded with caramel malts, dark munich, melanoiden, and some chocolate. Lots of breadiness, nuts, and caramel. So smooth. Reminded me a lot of Victory St. Victorious.

Pours deep copper with ruby menisci. Aroma of malt, berryish fruit, some hops. Tastes caramel malty, with fruit, some cabernet, and berries in the finish.

Poured a reddish amber color with a small, off white head and very light lacing on the glass. Aroma was sweet and malty, dried fruits, roast and light alcohol. Roasty malt taste, nutty, lightly sweet and mild alcohol burn.

Redish brown, not much hard strong malt taste, roasty, but watery, not much to it. Not one of their best.
