The aroma is beef bouillon, tobacco, dark bittersweet chocolate, cooked dark fruit and smoke with a lot of boozy phenols. The body is black and holds a wispy brown head. Big chocolate, coffee fore. Heavy, oasty, smoky aroma dominated by wood, chocolate, and roast with a lot of big scents. Flavor is roasty and smoky with some dark coffee, chocolate, and a tad of licorice. The aroma is of sweet dark berries and chocolate up front with undertones of tobacco, blue and blackberries, molasses, dark bread, coffee and hints of brown sugar. The flavour is medium roasted and medium hoppy bitter with tones of mild molasses, brown sugar, tar, salt liquorice, dark bread and tobacco. The mouthfeel is light oily and smooth with dry finish. Aroma of heavily roasted malt, some chocolate and alcohol. Sweet flavor with almost burnt malt, dark chocolate and a bit of dark fruitiness. Quite full-bodied.
