| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 28, 2009 Draft pint, at brewery. Pours a pale yellow with a minimal wispy white head. Very light nose, just s bit of bready malt and some light grassy hops. The flavor is much the same, clean and crisp, but not much for flavor. Minimal to no hops up front, but there’s a little on the finish. Light bodied, thin and fizzy. Pretty well serves as the BMC substitute for the masses not interested in drinking the excellent beer they make here. savnac (440), Palmer, Alaska, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 23, 2009 On tap @ Otto’s. Clear golden yellow with a white head and active carbonation. Bready malt aroma with German hops. Taste is about the same, sweet and malty with a perfect hop bitterness. Crisp and refreshing, I could drink gallons of this on a hot sunny day. Superb for the style and overall. EithCubes (2151), Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 19, 2009 Updated: Aug 23, 2009Draught at Otto’s. Golden, clear, medium-to-strong carbonation, with a short creamy white head. Lovely herbal nose on top of subtle German noble hops, grass, and lovely pale malt. An immediate winner! Creamy medium-thick body, hugely thick malt, ends dry with light hoppiness. I know the name refers to a place and not an adjunct, but it’s hard not to imagine some spruce/juniper tips here, lurking in the background and adding character. In any event, an excellent offering - on this day, from this glass, this Premium Lager is dominant. Rciesla (3719), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
