| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 19, 2007 From notes 1 week old. Served in a flute glass. Slightly cloudy pale gold in color, with a perpetually replenishing head. Aroma is tart, distinctly dusty, and lemony. The flavor on this one just ’pops’, starting with an effervescent carbonation sting turning quickly to a tart, dry sourness. Lemon-sour finish. Light bodied. Adenila (958), Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2007 Overall a very wellbalanced and easy to drink Oude Gueze. Aroma is sharp and sour, in a refreshing way. Nice balanced sourness in the flavor aswell with notes of citrus. Not overly complex but again, a good introduction to the style. stouby (1956), Holbaek, Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 10, 2007 Bottle labelled: best before 07-01-2025. I decided not to wait that long, and poured this hazy golden brew into a Belgian goblet as a large foamy white head developed and stuck around for a long time, although lace was limited. Distinct brett aroma, but also notes of honey, lemon, and light stone fruits. Light to medium body and a palate cleansing acidity produce a refreshing mouthfeel. Acidic and sour, yet not everly so, followed by some astringency. All in all, very pleasant, and a good choice for warmer weather. I had it with some grilled triggerfish, and it was the perfect accompaniment. beermaniac (86), Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 8, 2007 Aroma: Straightforward barnyard, bretty notes. Also hints of straw, strong fruits, niced aged character. Hint of butterscotch as it warms.
Appearance: A shade darker than I would have though, also still within range at a darker gold color. Nice white head.
Flavor: Brett and fruit, mirrors aroma. Not one flavor element really is in the forefront, well-balanced in flavor with typical lambic presentation.
Palate: Extremely sour, but its a gueze! You don’t get used to the sourness like you do in other lambics.
Overall: Good stuff, complex, packed full of flavor and aroma, with prerequisite sourness.
