| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours a rich golden with a big fizzy white pillowy head. Leaves long rings of lacing down the glass. Aroma is complex with a slight barnyard note, a very tart citric character, some white wine notes. Doesn’t punch you in the face as being overly sour up front but presents a quite dry vinuous character.
Very foamy character and a tart sour finish, fairly light bodied with a lively active carbonation.

This one was nice enough but something in there not too my liking. Finish was almost soapy. Massive explosion on opening, very lively, orange with thin (close to) white head. Dry and tart. I didn’t dislike this at all but nor did it excite me in anyway. Perhaps I just need to learn more and drink more. randolphjj (100), Raymore, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2009 Pours orange with lots of carbonation. Fizzy. (Sparkling would be a more appropriate way to describe it I suppose.)
Not as sour as I was expecting from the nose. Perhaps the bubbles cut down on that. I’m getting some straw Brett taste in there, but not much. I’m spontaneously fermenting as I drink this one. Light, crisp... nice. This is a great Geuze. yobdoog (1491), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2009 My first experience with geuze... interesting! I’m eager to try some more. Aroma wasn’t nearly as much farm or horse blanket as I thought it was going to be. Nice blend. finol (519), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden
