Striking almonds with a subdued cherry. Light and slightly fizzy with small bubbles. wickedly sour without the socks! Rather yeasty. Very lambic. Hit of cherry. Acid! Balanced wheatiness reigns in some of the crazier aspects, sort of. Small almond. Perhaps the beer of the night? 17thfloor (1484), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Strong yeast aroma, smells like chlorine actually. Not tons of taste here. The yeast is put out by the cherries and the cherries arent that strong. Little bite of sweet and sour at first but disappears quickley after each sip. Light palate, seems less dense than water even, loads of carbonation. The flavors are quality, and I understand how delicate they are, just wish a little more prevalent. BigMilly8 (376), Holiday, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 20, 2008 From bottle : Pours a very dark color with some red highlights, and a half finger of foamy light red head.....i love red heads. Big time tart cherries domanate the nose. Taste is sour and tart right from the start, big time. With cherries poking in and out of the taste. Medium body, and tart as all get out. Aftertaste is enjoyable and again...tart. gunhaver (1025), Tampa, Florida, USA

Funky cherries hit the nose, with a unique feel of burnt hay and other funky smells. Purplish red pour, lots of carbonation with a bright pinkish head. Sour, funky, well-treated cherries dominate the flavor. Tart as hell. Crisp, warm, enjoyable. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Very tangy and tart, far more sour than any other lambic I’ve had. Only mildly sweet. very dry finish. Not bad. SSSteve (2071), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Wow....bottle best by 2025! The pour is a lightly cloudy, deep ruby color with a large, foamy pink head. Random, snake like lacing spreads out horizontally on the glass. This is really a nice looking brew, the only downfall being poor head retention and lackluster lacing. The aroma is powerfull, showing intensely sour cherries over funky barnyard lambic yeast. The flavor follows suit, with mouth puckering cherries and even some fresh lemon scorching the tongue with citric acid. Lightly sweet, yet amply funky yeasty flavors add an interesting element. Medium bodied and dry, with a long, tingling finish. Not overly complex, but incredibly well crafted. Awesome brew. DirtyMartini (194), Los Angeles, Alabama, USA
