Bottle via csbosox (thanks!). My first lambic..woohoo...Pours a hazy dark reddish brown. Nose is sour cherries/apples. Taste is sour cherries, apples, strawberries and vanilla. Well carbonated. Tasty. But i will take a New Glarus Unpluuged Cherry anyday over this.

Pours a deep cloudy rouge with a lovely and surprisingly, lasting pink/purple head. Aroma is ripe cherries, very little funk, a quick tart acidity and an almond note. The body is unique in it’s fullness although the overall affect is dry and highly carbonated. The flavor is incredibly full of the ripe cherries. Tons of them, some vanilla and almond, and a big wallop of acidity, though it is well-balanced. An excellent example of the style. Just excellent.

Tarty aroma that has me thinking cherry skin. Nice sourness, light body, very drinkable but could do with a touch more of malts. Still, best Kriek I’ve had yet and this is another beer I could just happily while away an evening sniffing it. Didn’t remember I had rated it and going through some notes from late last year I found a later rating. Still scored a 4 but there I gave it 5 in App and 4 in Palate. Doesn’t really matter.

cherry aroma, with tiny hints of strawberries and vinegar. Red candy-ish head. Fruity, well balanced, with a subtle acid and tart, very good Kriek

Smells lightly of cherries. The flavor is not too abrasive or strong, but is still definitely a lambic. Quite nice. Beer 18.

The aroma is heavy with tart, sour cherries, balsamic vinegar, yeasty funk and that mildly funky/chemicalish aroma I can only describe as stir fried chinese baby corn. The body is a dark pink leaning to red in darker light. The head a pink tinted white, a thumb thick and lasting. Tart funky fore is very acidic and tangy with balsamic vinegar notes. faintly oaky in the middle. Quite dry and crisp on the tongue. very long lingering sour flavor goes well into the aftertaste.

This beer has a dark red pour witha pink head. It looks thick in the glass. The aroma is a very light sour with hints of berries. Lightly sour cherry flavor with some earthiness to it. There seemed to be something off in the aftertaste, however. The palate was a bit thin as well.

Best before 06/10/2024 bottle. Gorgeous appearance! Champagne-like effervescence, clear cherry color topped by the nicest head I have ever seen: compact, rock-solid sustainable and strawberry ice-cream color, lots and lots of laces! As for the aroma,a classic kriek nose of almonds, oak, and of course cherry, feels very natural, not the least artifical, you can almost see the cherries. Flavor is at first dry, then becomes sour and then those two features crank each other until the two merges in a very satisfiyng finish. It is as if the dryness and the sourness were racing, one sligthly in front of the other but you can never tell which one is most likely to win. Need I say it’s well balanced? As for the palate, a bit watery but at the same time round and full. I want more! So appetizing!
