Hoppy aroma with just a hint of cherries. More grape fruit flavor than cherries. Or maybe sour cherries if something like that exist. elektronikfagtekniker (892), kbh, Denmark

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 12, 2006 A deep, ruby body under an explosive, fluffy head of strawberry ice cream. Ancient, funky aroma of moldy basement carpeting and long-lost Chuck Taylors... revealing sour cherry coughdrops and the used bubble gum that Jukkabro stuck to the underside of his Finnish table. Cheek-pinching tartness begins a flavor that is mostly unwashed cherries, coated in a soft haze of dirt. Red wine follows with a finish akin to licking salt from tin. Overzealous carbonation dries the flavor and distends my belly, leaving a wake of gas and acid. 1200 beers and I still feel like Lambics are some sort of a cruel Belgian joke.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 8, 2006 Dark red colored, medium sized pink head. Mildly cloudy aroma. Aroma is rich with sour cherries and slight and good
sweetness, again this good slight bubble gum comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor has milder cherries than in aroma, good
sourness with fruits in there too. Aftertaste lasts with sourness. Good and balanced lambic! Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 3, 2006 Red body with a ruby head. Sweet and sour aroma and taste, mouth puckering. Cherries and raspberries dominate, some musky earth tones as well. Very nice overall. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Thanks to Matta for this one, another winner. The pour was hazy magenta with a 2-finger light pink head. Aroma of tart cherries, funky yeast, peaty woodsy malt. The flavor was tart, heavily cherry-laden, with some peaty oaky malt notes coupled with some funky yeast notes. Stays tart, but with a good amount of sweetness; at least enough to offset the tartness. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 12, 2006 On tap at the Publick House in Boston - Pours ruby red with an ample head. There’s a very nice aroma of slightly sour cherries. The flavor is at once sweet and sour. There’s enough sugariness that you won’t pucker, but enough sour fruit flavors that you’re not overwhelmed with sweetness. There’s also some mild spice present. It’s good, it’s refreshing and interesting, and I really think it has a flavor that many would enjoy greatly, not just the major beer aficionados. footbalm (1219), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Lambics.
