Beautiful deep red color. Almost no head. Cherry aroma as well as the taste - with a hint of rasberry. Tart, refreshing. Highly carbonated.

Dulled, clear red color with a light pink head. You can smell te tartness and barnyard flavor from an arms reach. The head dimishes pretty quick though, into a thin layer. Taste is very Cantillon though, heavy on the tartness, light on the cherry. The mouthfeel is lively and there’s some oak in the taste but the body is just lacking something. This is a really nice beer though.

Pours deep red with a gigantic pink head. Not one for gentlemen to drink in public. Very slow effervescence. I was expecting a blast of cherries in the aroma, but got a noseful of Gueuze funkiness backed by a raspberry-like tartness and a slight hint of cherry. The Gueuze really shows through in the taste, as well. Very funky and barnyardy, with, again, just a hint of cherry in the back of the mouth. Very good.

BB 2024?: Pour is deep crimson with a light reddish head that billows over the rich red beer...smell is tart cherries with lots of lambic funk...taste is loaded with funk and some cherries definately toward the back of the mouth...also, some leather flavors...finish is a little tart and definately bitter cherry...a little disappointing...still a 3.8...what an asshole...disappointed by a 3.8...

Cork came out a little too easy but it appears fine. Apricot color with a cream beige head. Aroma is funky and fruity. Spritzy tart and wonderful.

The bottle got a little excited when I opened it, pouring out a small bit while I lunged for my glass. The pour however is a nice orange with a strong red tint and a nice white head with a reddish tint. Aroma is a rubberish lambic smell, slightly offputting. It really picks up on the flavor, nice and sour, but theres still a rubbery flavor there.

Wow, this is some interesting lambic. It pours a slightly golden red with a pink head. Lots of bubbles. Very frothy. The aroma is very nutty and very sour. Hints of cherry. The flavor is tart, not the slightest semblance of anything sweet. Possible hints of ground cherry pits, and some delicious sour cherry. feels quite sour and dry, like chewing on a grapefruit seed. I really like this style of lambic. I think I’m spoiled. Lindeman’s is going to be too sweet now.

08.16.05 500ml bottle dated best by 06.10.2024 (!). Dark cranberry pour with lively, even, and lasting pink head. As pink beers go, this is easily the prettiest one I’ve seen. Aroma is solid lambic funk and barnyard with some dust and a hint of sulfur. I don’t know what kind of cherries y’all are eating, those of you who are smelling cherry in this beer? All I smell is lambic. Flavor actually presents a nice sour cherry profile and isn’t overly dry like some kriek lambics can be. Wet wood and some suede. Medium feel but plenty effy. Short dry finish on the palate, but long on lingering cherry and horseblanket. Tasty cherry tartness flits in and out all over the palate, too. Super tasty and very drinkable, juicy even.
