Oct 28, 2008 Updated: Feb 2, 2009Pours a hazy golden strawberry color with tons of little floating particles. Bottle is at least a couple years old. Bright, crisp sour aroma with green apple, sour cherries, and some barnyard funk. Very juicy, tart aroma, the fruit comes through in a bright collage -- sour cherry pits, granny smith apples, some lemon rind. This is very crisp, biting, and delicious. One of the best lambics of any kind I’ve sampled.

Oct 23, 2008 2002 Vintage bottle courtesy of Indra. Pour is a hazed pink strawberry red, with a nice 1/2 inch pink white head. Aroma of tart, sour cherry and strawberries. Some sweetness to the cherries, really soft and natural nose, very engaging. Taste is string tart acidity, very forward in the taste. Beyond the sour tartness is some earthiness, though sour is the story. Really nice, aged out nicely. Palate is thin and brief. I loved the nose, taste a bit less. Thanks for sharing this one Eric!

Oct 20, 2008 Pors red, with a light white head. My cold prevents a solid hold on the nose, but the taste is a nice, sharp, sour cherry. The way it should be.

Oct 12, 2008 Original version with round labeled bottle poured brownish pink with no head. Nose is nice, with cherry and malt. The flavor is a bit more subdued, with a subtle toasted nut finish.

Oct 8, 2008 ow, very tart and corky, musty and acidic but not mouth drying... lots of cherry and sour cherry skin aroma .. is very refreshing, does have a strange not so fresh aftertaste ... good pink foam(looks like an cherry icee head), some minor lacing ..dark ruby colour .. lots of funk, metal,woodiness, cherry, sour notes in the flavour depo ... a nice fruit lambic but to tart and funked (authentic) for me to truly rave about, but i can appreciate this for its quality ... best before date: 12.04.2026....turns wedding bells into wedding bills, ha ha ha..????????

Oct 3, 2008 375 ml bottle. Dark red body with a small pale, pink head (almost white). Acid sour aroma with cherry. Flavor is quite acidic, dry, cherry fruity and a bit woody. Authentic, complex and nice.
