Bottled at The Rover, Gothenburg. Lots of sediments floated around in this golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity, with apples, yeast and a touch of sourness. Fruit, alcohol, yeast and some sour apples in the flavor. Medium to thin body with some astringency in the mouth. Quite drinkable but a bit boring. (060824)

Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small off-white head. Strong fruitish hoppy aroma with hints of caramel. Flavour is yeasty and fruity along with some bitterness. Some notes of alcohol is also present, but not disturbingly.

(Bottled) Hazy orange color with a small head. Very yeasty, fruity aroma - a bit like Dolle brews. Sweetish, grainy-malty flavor with yeast, alcohol and some vegetable hints. Medium-bodied with balanced carbonation. A bit strange, but still quite pleasant brew. Alcohol is too evident.

Bottle. Red/copper colour with sparse white head. Bit of spiced/herby red fruit. Yeast and red fruit in mouth. Distinctive and I rather like it. Spritzy hoppy tingly finish. I wish that I could do justice to this, but my ability to identify flavours doesn’t cover this. Slight wood/dusty flavour. Some candy sugar. Slightly tart finish but residual sweetness is there too. Such an interesting beer.

"Oud Hergist Zottegems"
Hazy orangy, small firm off-white creamy head. Nose has hops, leather, yeast and is a bit earthy. Carbonated, medium-bodied. Malty with citric acidity with softening yeast and grassy hops. Dry, sweetish aftertaste.
