Sep 18, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry hoppy and light vague cornish. Dry grassy and slight cornish flavoured. Dry and bitter finish, bone dry really.

Jun 20, 2007 Bottled 33cl. My version was a 4.7 ABV. A slightly hazy yellow beer with a average white head. Aromas of apple juice and malt. Nothing special. The taste reveals some surprises. Malty, biscuitty, huge amounts of hay, hoppy, grassy; nicely balanced and not to sweet. A hint of peaches. Not bad at all. A nice buttery finish. A swiss lager that is clearly above average. This beer is worth having a look at the comments on the label. I don’t agree with all the statements, but this is a personal matter. A good lager. A beer I would drink on a regular basis.

Oct 6, 2005 Updated: Oct 7, 2005<i<Bottled. Hazy golden, creamy head. Aroma of mashed apples. Sweet with overwhelmingly soft, cottony mouthfeel and medium body. What is in the way of hops is sadly hidden behind green apples, which the sweet malt flavour cannot completely balance. But, damn what a wonderful malt character.

Mar 9, 2004 Hazy blond color. Very nice aroma, quite hoppy, herbal. Dry, bitter; a strong character, and a very strong, long palate.
