From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry hoppy and light vague cornish. Dry grassy and slight cornish flavoured. Dry and bitter finish, bone dry really.

Bottled 33cl. My version was a 4.7 ABV. A slightly hazy yellow beer with a average white head. Aromas of apple juice and malt. Nothing special. The taste reveals some surprises. Malty, biscuitty, huge amounts of hay, hoppy, grassy; nicely balanced and not to sweet. A hint of peaches. Not bad at all. A nice buttery finish. A swiss lager that is clearly above average. This beer is worth having a look at the comments on the label. I don’t agree with all the statements, but this is a personal matter. A good lager. A beer I would drink on a regular basis.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours pilsener golden with a slight haze and a vaguely creamy, white head. Soft, malty nose. Medium-bodied, sweet and malty - grainy - with a very subdued bitternress. A classical and pleasant Helles. 070706

<i<Bottled. Hazy golden, creamy head. Aroma of mashed apples. Sweet with overwhelmingly soft, cottony mouthfeel and medium body. What is in the way of hops is sadly hidden behind green apples, which the sweet malt flavour cannot completely balance. But, damn what a wonderful malt character.

Hazy blond color. Very nice aroma, quite hoppy, herbal. Dry, bitter; a strong character, and a very strong, long palate.
Thanks Jasmine for the warm welcome.

re-rated 12/14/2004 - slightly hazy blond colour, almost no foam, medium floral hoppiness, medium to full-bodied with a respectable bitterness, crisp and clean with a dry hoppy finish - a very well-made lager
05/2001 (2.9) - clear yellow colour, fine head, mild hoppiness, malt aroma, sweet, medium-bodied with a moderate malty finish
