argo0 (6231), Washington DC, USA Jan 20, 2007 Hazy amber body with medium beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, pine, some grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, pine/grapefruit, some pineapple, light caramel, alcohol. Watery medium-full body, some resin. DrBayern (977), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Nov 13, 2006 On draft at the brewpub. I talked with the brewmaster about this after I had it. Centennial, Chinook, Amarillo, and Simcoe hops. This was nice clear amber with a medium, but lasting, white head. Very citrus aroma, the Amarillo and Simcoe I’m assuming. I thought it had been dry hoped, but he told me that it wasn’t. Some soft caramel in the background of both the aroma and flavor. Resinous mouthfeel with medium body. Bitter grapefruit comes through strongly for a nice bitter finish. This was very enjoyable, and certainly helpedput out the fire from the wings!!
