(Söderbärke 2007) Dark amber, offwhite head. Malty, roasted aroma. Malty flavor, fruity notes and maybe some chocolate and vanilla.

Dark brown coloured, pale brown head, strange root nose. Mild roasted malty, fruity and spicy aroma with metallic and vanilla? notes. Sweet caramel and herbal finish.
Strange looking label with voodoo or some other pagan religion signs and wooden dool in the middle. Better for Marilyn Manson than for love makers.

Dark brown with beige head,nice rosted taste and aroma of brown bred and sweet malt.They told me that this beer sould be from Congo?Better then many African beers.

(33 cl bottle at Delirium Café, Göteborg) According to the bar the beer is from Benin. Very dark red brown color, frothy brown head. Metallic, acidic and milky scent. Acidic, borderlineing sour, taste. Also chocolate yogurt. Spritzy mouthfeel. Sweet lactic aftertaste.

Bottle. Clear orange red coloured with a beige head. Aroma of malts, fruits and caramel with light roasted notes. Flavour of fruits and caramel with roasted notes.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, reddish mahogany with a handsome, light brown head leaving some laces. Aroma of dark, roasted malts. Medium body with plenty of roasted malt and a dry, hoppy finish. Very drinkable indeed. 150906

Sweet caramelly aroma with medium toffee. Black colored, medium beige head. Flavor is somehow thinner: hops, dryness, mild roastiness, aftertaste lasts mild hops and dryness.

Another Haus der Biere 131 product... Very dark nut brown, decent brown head. A bit sweet roasted aroma. Roasted, good hops then finish is quite short and metallic. A bit hoppy in the aftertaste. Ok as a beer, nothing to do with Africa. Same brew than Voodoo Dark?
