Bottled. A brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruit, malt, caramel, and some notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, reddish mahogany with a handsome, light brown head leaving some laces. Aroma of dark, roasted malts. Medium body with plenty of roasted malt and a dry, hoppy finish. Very drinkable indeed. 150906

Bottle, 6.5%. Fruity aroma, a little metal like vitamins pills. Almost black colour, clear with a red shine. Small light brown head. The flavour is fruity with a bit of metal. Another crappy beer sold by Haus der 131 Biere.

Bottled. Deep reddish brown colour with mediumsized fluffy beige head. Aroma is mild roasted malts, cherry pips as well as some old cold coffee. Flavour is mild smoked wood, some hoppyness as well as some herbal notes. Strange, but drinkable...

Bottle. Clear orange red coloured with a beige head. Aroma of malts, fruits and caramel with light roasted notes. Flavour of fruits and caramel with roasted notes.

Dark brown with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel hints of chocolate notes. Flavour was sweet with roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and perfume. Finished sweet.

Another Haus der Biere 131 product... Very dark nut brown, decent brown head. A bit sweet roasted aroma. Roasted, good hops then finish is quite short and metallic. A bit hoppy in the aftertaste. Ok as a beer, nothing to do with Africa. Same brew than Voodoo Dark?

Bottle from Scandinavian Park, Handewitt, Flensburg. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Very dark amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Very fruity. Moderate bitter flavor. No roast. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
