oh6gdx (5901), Vaasa, Finland Jun 7, 2007 Bottled. Dark brown colour with mediumsized brown head. Chocolate, malts, some raisins and some roasted notes in the aroma. Flavour is the same, but feels a bit flat. Didn’t age well.
thebeertourist (1798), Oslo, Norway Oct 28, 2007 Bottle. Mahogny with a creamy light brown head. Burnt malts and yeast aroma. Good bready notes as well. Sweet and bready flavours with burnt maltiness. A decent dubbel. reakt (810), Greater London, England Oct 5, 2007 Bottle from Kris wines. Brownish with an off white head. Nose of malt, yeast, some cola and berries also. Taste is much the same with hints of wood and spice, ginger in fact. Pretty much what I expected, a run of the mill Bruin. Mes_and_Sim (4360), Highgate, Greater London, England Sep 29, 2007 A Sim rate (bottle from Kris Wines thanks to Reakt): Roasty, spicy, brown bread aroma. Tart, slightly metallic flavour with malt, wheat. Quite bitter with a very bland finish. OK, but not much body or depth to it. fonefan (4439), Ulfborg, Denmark Jun 19, 2007 Bottle.
