Commercial Description:
Pabst Blue Ribbon Honey is an exceptionally smooth and mellow beer with a subtle hint of sweet honey. This highly refreshing, golden-brown lager is made with natural honey with select malted barley and hops.

It’s better then Lakeport Honey and worse then Sleeman Honey Brown, but its cheap. I agree with some of the other posts, its harsh alcohol taste makes it way less then mellow.

(Bottle) Purchased at the LCBO in Campbellville, ON. Pours an amber body with a small almond head. The nose - not surprisingly - smells somewhat like honey. I don’t know if other Pabst brewers make this (it doesn’t look like it) but I’m betting that this is just a re-brand of the Sleeman Honey Brown.

Sweet malty aroma, amber, small off-white head. Taste is sweet malt, cloying, about as expected. Thanks MrManning.

Golden brew with light copper tone, bubbly average top. Plain light aroma with slightly dusty character to it. Plenty of carbonation, thin bodied, slight acidic accents with some sweeter aftertaste and finally alcohol. Harsh. Sweetness becomes more prominent with more time as you drink.

Bottle- Pours a bubbly gold coloured body. Head is white, thick and foamy. Aromas are faint hops, honey, come corn. Not too bad for a honey lager. Taste is meatl, sweet corn, chemicals, not good. FInish is watery, with a slight alcohol burn. Pretty rough!

Pale yellow color - little head. Little in the aroma, maybe a slight nuttiness and some sugar. The body is spritzy and light. Not much happening, which is the case with most of these honey lagers isn’t it?
