Tastes like a Busch. Nothing special...just a regular beer for a poor man.

If you grew up in the midwest in the 60’s or before this beer or Old Style was probably the first you had. An original redneck beer. Pours decent with a nice head, but thats about it. Good carbonation with a corn aroma. Flat tasting. No character at all. No body. Not so good of a aftertaste, slighly bitter, but not a good taste. A beer only fit for a mother-in-law

Over sweet with a big sterile bite to it. Plenty of bread and honey in the mouth coming as if eaten off a big, Victorian iron spoon. Pretty sickening in the finish. Such huge cans! They expect you to get through all of that? Fat chance.

Pours a pale yellow with a small fizzy white head. The aroma is a little sweet smelling with corn and some fruit. The flavor is mildly sweet and grainy with mostly creamed corn and a hint of caramel. Bready finish with almost no hops. Typical pale lager, but not disgusting. A trendy alternative for the BMC crowd.

I drank this one on tap at the bar, I was really surprised with this one! I always figured it to be the old mans beer but it is actually better than Bud, Miller and Coors in that the taste is just a little heavier but is not as offensive. Not exactly a great beer, but its a great choice for those dollar beer nights at the bar. Or a nice thirst quinech after a hard day.

Not terrible, not great. I drank this in a 5.9% alcohol content. It’s the cheapest 6 pack you can pick up in my area. Bad initial palate, very bad. But whatever, I’ll drink it.

The only redeeming qualities about this beer are the price and the lack of association with bad commercials or beer guzzling college students. It is the only beer I will touch that has noticeable acetaldehyde--that nasty poison that gives you hangovers. I stay away from it for the most part, but when I pop one I know what I’m in for. No aroma, no flavor, abundant fizziness and an instant headache. Cheers!

Pours yellow with a tall thick head, looks like any other pale lager. Cheap sweet aroma of malt and corn. Flavour is nice. fresh and sweet with a creamy thickness, and at 5.6% it is a force to be reconed with. It is much better than I expecyed and have to say I would much rather have this than a kokanee or Canadian.
