Aug 15, 2009 On tap. Clear, warm reddish amber with an off-white head leaving laces. Burned caramel and a little nuts in the nose. Quite full-bodied, sweet burned caramel and nuts with solid aroma hops that come late and leave a solid bitterness. 120709

Jul 28, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and light roasted malty. Hoppy, dense overripe fruity and mild liqourice spiced. Medium bitter, roasted and dry finish.

Sep 18, 2005 Clear copper body with off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, pine/grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, pine/grapefruit. Nice bite in the finish. Medium body with some resin. Needs a bit of rounding, but still quite nice.

Mar 13, 2009 Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty floral hoppy aroma with hints of grapefruit. Has a sweetish malty hoppy fruity caramel flavor. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

Jan 14, 2006 Dark red amber ale with a thin off white head. Sweet malt with light raisins notes in aroma, and fruity esters. In mouth, barrage of hops with nice malt base, and woody oak notes. Rich, a bit harsh but definetly enjoyed. On tap, August 2005.

Apr 20, 2007 Sampler at the Brew pub, 3/31/07. Pours amber with a lil island of a white head. The aroma is citrussy, with sweet notes. The taste is hoppy and woody. This is a stron showing for a ASA.

Sep 3, 2004 Draft. Copper color with very little head. Fuller body. Citrus aroma, Nice lingering grapefruit bitterness with a sweet malt backing. Cask is a bit more watery/lighter bodied and a bit fruitier.
