Dark brown color. A medium bodied dopplebock. Deeply roasted malts, slightly sweet. Medium hopped. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

I’m not a big fan of this doppelbock. Quite a strong alcohol aroma and flavor. Medium roastiness. Fairly thin bodied. A little too estery.

Rich and creamy with tasty sharp edges screeching to a weird halt with banana esters floating around for a weird finish. Is this the Deviator’s deviation? It’s a bit bready as well. It’s got personality but I’m wondering how likable this personality is.
