Commercial Description:
Our most popular seasonal beer, which we originally brewed for St. Patrick's Day. This is a strong Red Ale. It is full-bodied with the flavor leaning to the malt. All Centennial hops!

Tap & Cask @ brewpub: Clear amber color with an off-white head. The aroma shows a balance of hops and malts. There is kind of a burn/bite to it with flavors that resemble peat, shoe leather and musty basement. I guess I didn’t like this one - lacking flavor.

Sampler at the Brew pub, 3/31/07. The speciality ale on draft of the bunch. Pours deep amber with a thin white head. No nose. Malty balanced taste more malty than hoppy. Decent.

Rounded hop and body feel from possible oxidation and thick body, a bit of caramel and apple fruit, roasty notes, tannic finish. Semi-dry to semi-sweet.
