Had this after the imperial stout, so I my seem a little harsh. Great aroma, but seemed flat to me. Reminded me of a dry stout. Smooth and drinkable but I was spoiled on the imperial

Sampler at the Brew pub, 3/31/07. Nitro stout as expected. Pours black with an off white head. Little smokeyness not much else in the nose. The taste is sweet light and not exciting. eh for a stout.

Tried it on tap. Dark color stout with a good head. Creamy and smooth texture. Flavor was hoppy with some chocolate/coffee and a bit of sweetness.
