Jul 28, 2009 From tap at the brewpub. Pours black to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is hardroasted malty. Quite acidic hard roasted malt flavours. Bitter and acidic finish with a lingering chalky and roasted malt flavour into the far finish.

Sep 18, 2005 (nitro) Creamy beige head that leaves nice lacing, atop a red-black body. Aroma is medium sweet, roasty, coffee. Taste is medium sweet, roasty, cream, coffee, light cinnamon in the finish. Watery light-medium body.

Apr 20, 2007 Sampler at the Brew pub, 3/31/07. Nitro stout as expected. Pours black with an off white head. Little smokeyness not much else in the nose. The taste is sweet light and not exciting. eh for a stout.

Sep 3, 2004 Draft. Blackish with a big nitro head. Roasty aroma. Light body, but some creaminess. Roasty aroma. Just dominated by a vegetalquality that permeates everything and takes too much away from the enjoyment.
