Commercial Description:
Our bitter ale. Annapolis Valley Ale has an amber hue, a lightly fruity malty flavour and a huge hit of hops. Those who like it, love it.

Clear amber with white head. Some fruitness in the mild aroma. Soft, low carbonation. Nice touch of hops. Well-balanced beer. Decent amber ale even if a bit thin. If it were beefed up it would be nice because the flavors are all good.

Dark amber ale, smal off white - beige head, some lacing. (3+) Hops in the aroma show mild citrus, slight green leafy notes. Hops carry over to the flavour with a pleasant grapefruit like quality, but this becomes a bit much in the finish. Average palate. Interesting beer, would become even better if it were a touch more balanced. Very nice.

Clear reddish copper color with a thin offwhite head. Aroma and flavor of citrusy hops and caramel with a bitter finish. Light to medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation.

Dark amber colour. Aroma is light with chocolate, blueberry, crystal malt. On the palate, toasty, slightly toffeeish crystal malts play off of a background of grapefruity hops and moderate (30-32 IBUs) bitterness. Finish is earthy, slightly sweeter.

Reminded me a lot of Granite Brewery's Best Bitter. Light fruity aroma. Red gold in colour with a creamy tan head. Cherry and plum flavours, finishes with a fruity and floral bitter kick. A touch on the thin side, though.
