Bottle @ Kerstbierfestival 2006 in Essen, BE. Dark red / amber color with a average white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, abd yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Balance is good but very easy to drink, but not too interesting.

Bottle at home. Smells of caramel and banana. Taste fruity but drops off quick. Not much lasting power. Eggy in the finish.

Bottle, Antwerpen. Reddish brown, clear with a big offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma. Sweet caramel flavours, some fruit, balancing bitterness. Well-made, but not too interesting.

Amber colored pour with small head. Fruity with a slight hint of yeast. Has a nice fruity finish to it. Pretty damn good.

Drank from a bottle at a resturant. Aroma was sweet with caramel or maple. Taste was sweet caramel but a nice bittery alcohol bite also.

Obvious caramellish aroma, maybe with some hints of berries. Medium body. It is very fruity - mainly because of the hints form berries - but it has also a nice caramel-flavor, and a little alcohol despite it’s only 5,5% ABV. It creates a bit of an illusion of drinking a stronger belgian ale. The aftertaste is a little alcoholic, has a caramel-flavor, and a medium hopped finish. Quite good beer that want to appear stronger than it really is.

Bottled. Amber colour, beige small head. Aroma of barley and flowery hops. Flavour contains barley, caramel some hops. Quite bitterish finish. Creamy palate, but there is no aftertaste. It just is gone after the bitterish finish.
