| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) 6% ABV in my version. First brewed to celebrate the 250 year jubilee of the Palm brewery. Reddish amber with a decent, white head. Not much stronger than the original Palm, actually less malty but more refined and spicy. A decent albeit rather pricey ale - and not really that much better than the original - if better at all? 280398 Mklein818 (165), Etterbeek, Virginia, Belgium
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2005 Palm is a weak ale, and Palm Dobbel attempts to add more flavor while retaining the brand’s signature weakness. Problem with that is that the beer is just too watery to carry much flavor. Still, a good lunchtime beer--matched with a good carbonade or something. MoritzF (4995), Bochum, Germany
