Red copper ale with a light sweet malt aroma. Caramel malt taste with signs of oxidation, due to cardboard notes, covering any other qualities. Medium bodied. Thanks Kasta.

(Bottle 75 cl) 6% ABV in my version. First brewed to celebrate the 250 year jubilee of the Palm brewery. Reddish amber with a decent, white head. Not much stronger than the original Palm, actually less malty but more refined and spicy. A decent albeit rather pricey ale - and not really that much better than the original - if better at all? 280398

Palm is a weak ale, and Palm Dobbel attempts to add more flavor while retaining the brand’s signature weakness. Problem with that is that the beer is just too watery to carry much flavor. Still, a good lunchtime beer--matched with a good carbonade or something.

(bottle) Clear red copper colour with a medium foamy slightly tanned head. Fruity, yeasty and hoppy aroma with a tinge of caramel. Malty taste with a short hoppy medium bitter finish with light hints of liquorice.

ABV 5.8%. Dark coppery color, nice yellow head. Thin aroma:sweet, fruity, malty and mildly hoppy. Watery palate, thin to medium bodied. Mildly sweet start. Dry, skunky and metallic ending in flavor.
