Bottle, bought @ Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam.
Pours pale amber golden with a fair, fizzy, but kinda creamy off-white head. Sweet aroma, brewing cereal, maize, light peppermint? Medium prickly carbonation, very watery palate. Flavour is mild, some artificial sweetener, maize, brewing cereal. Very sweet and artificial. Some citric bitterness.

Amber colored, not really a nice color. Aroma is grainy, corn, bad malts. Flavor is thin, cardboard, bad malts and corn. Not good.

This is not only the first non-alcoholic beer I have rated but I believe it is the first I have ever sampled. Here goes: Well it looks just fine. Orangey amber hues with small clouds of a decent white head. Aroma-wise it is very sweet and green. Hinting at brown sugar and under-ripe banana. Something metallic here too. This reminds me of the flavour of the pretend beers they give to kids. All malt and nothing to back it up with. Awfully sweet and sugary a tiny hint of lemoniness. It seems hollow. Isn’t it odd how you can really tell when the booze ain’t there? It is lightly carbonated and reasonably viscous. It is drinkable, but I’d prefer not to have to go here again too often.

Bottle. Pretty bad. Sweet, and kind of sugary, with a very undeveloped malt character to it. Some metallic notes in the finish.

A low alcohol version of this great Ale. Amber body, small head. Corny nose, as lw ABV often has. Skunky with a sweet taste. Thin and not much to it.

25cl bottle. Pours amber with a small bubbly off white head. Sour nose of corn and malts. Sweet . . and actually horrible. Taste is worse . . ryebread and maize. Shit.

Bottle. Clear amber colour, white soapy head. Foul aroma of grain, a bit skunk and some sweetness resembling caramel and butterscotch, but not quite. Flavour is much better, but still not good. Malty and bready flavour, caramel, quite sweet and soft, but with a nasty bready finish. A bit thin. No thanks.

Clear amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with unfermented barley and butter notes. Flavour likewise with fresh woth notes. Sweet finish.
