| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 30, 2008 On tap at Bierpassie Weekend, Antwerpen. Orange amber colour, small froth. Washing powder aroma. Sweetish, but with compensating bitterness. I have tasted this beer before and remember it as slightly superior to the filtered Palm. Unfortunately, I have to rate this drinking experience, and the beer had probably gone bad. Bart (1670), Brussels, Belgium

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Cask/draught/something. Dark orange and muddy in appearance with a short tan head. Meaty yeast and fruit up front, twangy throughout, developing some light crispness in the finish, but tasting a bit too much like plastic bananas and cream. bobinlondon (844), Harrow, Greater London, England

Although a fresh barrel, beer poured with very little head or conditioning. Pale amber in colour and with very little aroma, the taste was extremely bland. Not what I’d expect from a Belgium ale brewer. JoeinUccle (911), Brussels, Belgium

Pours thickly cloudy orange-amber into tumbler glass, with surprisingly big and bubbly white head. Slightly dusty, grainy nose. Tastes grainy and gritty, lightly bitter, nutty. Soft and flat in the mouth. Quenching, but surprisingly bland... especially considering I’m a quiet fan of the filtered Palm on draft. altonbrownd (1962), Amsterdam, Netherlands
