May 10, 2007 What a difference with a filtered beer. This beer has so much more taste. Very good balanced and a real surprise.

Apr 24, 2007 Hazy (particles in the beer) dark golden body, thick lasting white head; Great but not big an aroma, balance of malt, yeast and hop; Very soft textured body, fruity bitter; Medium long very pleasant fresh finish, soft texture, slightly green aromas of fresh green asparagus, green elder berries. Very pleasant surprise!

Mar 12, 2007 Draft at the brewery tap. Kept and served cilled to make sure the yeast doesn’t go amok. Sweetish and fruity, very well balanced flavour. Some yeast in there, too. Fine, but the unfiltered Rodenbach was far more interesting.
This will be a part of a new concept of serving the PAlm beers in cafes in the near future, so this will be more widely available.

Feb 24, 2007 Big offwhite coarse lasting head. Hazy deep orange-brown body, clearly with lots of yeast. Light acidic wooden aroma, very faint. Taste is round, yeasty and fruity, very mild, with caramel and milk notes. Very smooth, with a milky mouthfeel. Dry all the way through. Dryish wooden aftertaste. Very unusual, but highly drinkable. (0.25l draft.)

Oct 9, 2006 Darught at the Grand Cafe Horta, Antwerp, Belgium 04-10-06. Slightly hazy orangey coloured beer with a fluffy white head. Aroma a bit yeasty and also a little bit of banana detected, little bit nutty in the taste but again detected slight banananess along with yeasty flavour. Very enjoyable beer that I could have had a few of quite comfortably.

May 17, 2006 Draught. The body is a rich, hazy orange-brown with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma has some fresh oranges and a significant yeast profile. Soft palate with cereal and bready yeast flavours. Pretty decent and whole-heartedly refreshing on a hot day in Belgium’s second largest city.

Feb 27, 2006 On tap at Cafe Horta, Antwerp. Hazy copper colour with lasting creamy head. Caramel/yeast aroma. Lovely and drinkable in mouth. Caramel/yeast/hop finish. Quite full in mouth and much better than normal Palm

Mar 9, 2005 On tap in Oct. 2003in brussels. Nutty and candy forward version much better than the bottled. Some yeast and citrus notes with an extremely clean finish.
