Palm Royale

Bottle. Moderate malty and yeasty, light alcoholic and sour. A large white frothy head, normal long lasting. A red-orange clear body. The taste is light bitter with an quite long duration. A medium body with an lively carbonation and a dry and creamy texture. This one is way better then the normal Palm, it reminds me of an good Dortmunder like the Alfa Super Dortmunder!

[Beer Cleaning day at Rugmarken.] Dark golden with big white head. Almost "invisible" aroma and flavor of sweet malt and only slight hops, some butter and dry finish.

33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, not balanced, clear, good head, nice brew

Bottle at home. Pale golden colour white head. Aroma is malts, fruits, tart. Flavour is sour, champagne like, also in carbonation. I didnīt like it at all, expected a lot more from this.

Bottle at Le Cirio, Brussels, 24-07-08 Pours light/mid gold A sweet clean malty tasting beer. Some sweet grapeskin like aromas on the nose. Medium carbonation thin white head the alcohol sits on a sweet malty base, no bitterness.
