A clear amber colored beer, with a thick beige head. The aroma of caramel malts, sweet and fruity.The taste is fresh of sweet caramel with some bitter. The aftertaste is sweet. I taste this beer for the first more than 25 years ago. It was one of the first special kinds of beer. It’s still a good beer, but in my opion to sweet now.

Draught at Captain Hook, Jyväskylä. Amber color with creamy head. Sweetish and caramelly aroma with restrained fruitiness, toastiness and hint of fruity hops. Sweetish, caramelly, toffeish and slightly toasty flavor with some fruity esters and fruity hops in the background. Easygoing everyday beer. Better on draught.

Draught. Copper, thick creamy off-white head. Quite dull aroma, dry fruitiness, little brewing mash and toastiness. Softly caramel malty, a bit sweet flavor, almost no hops. Softly carbonated, but bland mouthfeel. Very simple and dull. It’s not that much better than the average bulk pale lager.

bottle 33cl, the one and only speciale belge! refreshing. lively ambercolor with rich head. honeylike softness and fruity aroma. drinks like applejuice! Be warned.. :-)
