It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.

Bottled. Stable one-finger white head. Crystal clear, bright amber colored body. Prominent toffee-ish malt aroma with some pleasant notes of bread, ash and tobacco. Tasty is fairly sweet and malty with a distinct bitterness. Notes of dark fruits. Medium to light body. Dries up in the finish. A charming one, high drinkability.

Goldy colour meduim head, clear. Sweet horsey sour aroma with malt background, malty with little hop. Sl toasty, nutty, munich ? malt finishes dry, very slight diacetyl. I found the aroma unpleasant, maybe a house yeast character.overall a bit bland.

Clear dark amber pour from the tap at Blue Dog in Chalfont. Toasted malt, caramel sweetness, bread dough, and a smooth finish. Not bad, but it did go well with my jalapeno cheeseburger.

Bottle from South Bay Drugs and Liquor. Aroma is plain and simple serving of yeast with spice that is toned down compared to the other belgian ales that make it here across the pond. Beer is a light tint of orange with no formation of head to discuss. The flavor is bland and i know it isnt a proper way to describe a beer but im going to go ahead and say that it really does taste watered down.
