Commercial Description:
PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.

A delicious rather full tasting ale. Nothing amazing about it but (in my opinion at least) it makes a pleasant change from the huge beers available in Belgium. Quite like an English bitter (though more malt heavy)

Pours a clear gold with a small egg-white head with some lacing. Wonderful sweet & spicy aroma. Taste is not so exciting - corn, sweet malt, lagerish. Slightly-off hop aftertaste, thankfully lasts a split second. Carbonation is good but the body is thin. This stuff must be to Belgians like Kokanee is to Canadians. Pure swill.

Hazy amber of color with a beige head. An aroma of hops, malt and barn. A flavor of lemon, notes of sweets and malt.

Redish amber coloured with a medium sized head. Aroma is malty and toffee. Notes of dry fruits. Taste is caramel and malt. Some bitterness in the end

Amber ber with a good carbonation. Light beige head. Spicy aroma. The flavor is more difficult to describe as it disappears almost immediately. A very htin bodied beer. I hardly recognise some malty notes and caramel.

Indeed a very nice sessionbeer. [Eat that you bloody anglofiles.] With lots of behavior ale and fruitnotes. A wellbalanced yeasty profile, soft and refreshing.

Bottle. Poured a nice amber beer with a good head. The aroma is sweet, fruity, and malty. The flavor is soft, sweet of a good malt blend, and slightly bitter. A really good beer.
