Commercial Description:
PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.

Drank on draft. Beautiful reddish gold colour. Full body, satisfying taste. Not a "session beer" but more for drinking like a glass of wine, sip by sip. Not for getting drunk but for getting the taste. Excellent beer.

Amber/brown coloured brew. Aroma is a bit yeasty, but lacks of complex aroma. Thin, pilsener like taste. A bit watery even. Little bit bitter. Not too exciting.

Bottle. Amber colour with a small white head. Aroma and taste of malts and hops. Pretty boring for a belgian beer.

I stared in disbelief at the orange tinted beverage served to me, from draft, at Lowlander. The menu called it Palm Speciale, but my taste buds called it something quite different. Only slightly stronger than water with slightly less taste. I’d have saved £3 drinking from the bathroom tap. Perfect for people that don’t enjoy the taste of beer.

25 cl bottle. Light brown and clear, with a thick and foamy tan head. Fruity aroma. Heavy malt flavor, with a mild hop bite. Lingering finish of malt, that sours. More than I expected from this beer. For a cheap beer, it beats many American macro beers.

Not a top belgian ale. Copper brown, thin head, muted aromas of yeast and caramel. Flat palate of dusty caramel and faint fruit, quite thin.

Bottle. Golden orange colour with a small tan head. Malty, corny aroma and a light sweet, dry, fruity taste. Light body with a sweet finish.
