Not much head, thin & foamy light tan. Aroma is honey, corn malt, also husky and grassy. A little citrusy too. Flavor is dry and grassy malt, yeasty and grainy, a little tangy and citrusy. Crisp carbonation. Haven’t had this since 1991 and my friends thought it was skunked back then. They just didn’t know what it was supposed to taste like. kappldav123 (1859), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2009 The bottle looks very simple, the beer in the glass a bit darker that exspected. Starts mild, grasy-hoppy, fruity notes of peach and apricot. Finish modest sweet. Quite drinkable. Average! gam (1112), brisbane, Australia

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 18, 2009 Bottle, 33 cl. I don’t have the ’speciale’ on my bottle, just Palm, but I think this is the best option to rate the Palm. An amber coloured beer with a medium white head, disappearing fast however. The arroma is malty, fruity and amber. The taste is not very strong, but nice: some malts, yeasts and a light bitter, hoppy finish. Also a bit watery overall. Refreshing beer. Doesn’t get a high score, but doens’t mean that this is a bad beer: it is a very decent beer, only a bit too light in alcohol and in taste and a bit too watery. jeff789 (407), Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 16, 2009 Aroma is a bit non-descript, mildly malty, like an english pale ale, mildly fruity, very boring... Pours a deep golden with a nice head that fades quickly but leaves small condensed bubbles... Mildly fruity with cereal malts and no hops, slightly sweet... After taste is fritos... Definitely belgiums equivelent of yuengling... CanIHave4Beers (897), Des Moines, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Huh, people really don’t seem to like this much... Pours a clear golden color with a good medium head and good lace. The aroma is lightly fruity if a little faint... sort of spicy. The flavor is lightly bitter with a nice fruitiness, overall very crisp and clean almost tastes like a fruity well made pale lager.
