Bière d’un brun clair et pale avec aucun collet. Gout de malt caramel avec une texture acqueuse. Manque de corps et de gout, très ordinaire.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Jun 6, 2005 a sim rate: (on tap) It smells deliciously of coconut and marshmallow. And yup.. they’re both in the flavour too. There’s such a gorgeous creaminess about this beer. I remember having it on tap in Belgium the first time I ever went and I loved it just as much then. Much better on tap than in bottles. Short finish. Ale and cream - smell and flavour. This rate would not be nearly as high for the bottled version. Lubiere (4552), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 31, 2005 Amber ale with a nice thin moka head. Sweet caramel aroma with oxidation notes. Nice restrained sweet malt with faint nuttyness and light hops. Medium bodied and oily mouthfeel. Not bad. Cornfield (4980), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 28, 2005 This is a simple but tasty brew. It pours a clear amber color with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet, toasty malt with some floral/herbal/earthy hop scents. These carry through into the flavor, with the addition of yeasaty, citric tastes, particularly orange. It’s got a refreshing, snappy hop finish that leaves me wanting more. Sadly, it’s not very available in the Chicago area. KariCupcake (214), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 22, 2005 I liked this one a lot! It was everywhere in Amsterdam too, which was good. Red color with a soda-like fizziness. I liked the color a lot. I think all beers should look like this. TaktikMTL (2786), Montréal-Nord, Quebec, Canada

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 10, 2005 On tap at the Vermont Restaurant at the Holiday Inn Amsterdam ("eat, drink, and be Vermont" - in the Netherlands? WTF?). Amber color with a slight fizzy mouthfeel. Malty and pretty ok. Nothing really special, but at the same time, oddly drinkable. When I went to bars in the Netherlands and there weren’t any new beers for me to try, I’d order this.
