Commercial Description:
PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.

(Bottle 25 cl) For my first "Palm" years ago I remember saying that it’s taste was pretty close to a brewery’s smell. But that was something to appreciate. Nice amber colour, the head disappears a bit fast for my liking. Yeasty, malty nose and some caramel notes well balanced with the hops. Very high drinkability. 060693

Nice copper colored Belgian beer. Good white head, smooth toffee flavour with a nice aftertaste. Excellent beer ! Try it!

This is a very fine beer. A bit sweet. A bit more alcohol than the other pilseners. For a party one can affer the guests a Palm Speciale you never do it wrong.

Low white head on an amber body. The tast is not bad, easy drinking beer. Otherwise there is nothing special about this brew. Very easy to drink. Nice beer to drink and relax on in Antwerp, I guess

A ’nothing to write home about’ supermarket beer. It’s an easy drinking beer, nothing exciting but not nasty. One for watching the football in front of the telly and a bag of chips.

Bottle. There was nothing to like about this. Just really malty and sweet. Flat sweet caramel and grain. Not very good at all.
