| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 7, 2005 Not bad for what it is. For the price, this is a decent everyday drink. Think of it as bread. It’s not something special from that amazing bakery, but it’s tasty and dosen’t offend. Nice copper color, tastes a bit of the can, nice amount of bitter with a sweetish finish. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 11, 2005 Poured into a tulip glass while in Groening, Netherlands. Was at a cool little pub named Luedwig. Poured a nice copper-colour with a fluffy cream head. Lots of lacing. Slightly hoppy at first with a semi-smooth caramel finish. overall kind of thin in complexity and taste. It was an easy drink and so I followed up with a Duvel afterwards to get the brain stirring. screwball (802), Motala, Sweden
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2004 Amber in colour. Fairly creamy white head. Sloppy. Thin. Taste of metal in aftertaste. Dry finish. Oakes (8172), Beyond the Great Firewall, China
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2004 Copper colour with inch-thick foam. Toasty yeast note overtop of caramel and light grassy hops in the aroma. Switch places and the caramel leads the toast around the palate. Moderate bitterness and spritzy carbonation tempers the caramel’s potentially cloying influence. Finishes off-dry, mainly yeasty. Well-made, but due to its subtleness (not lightness) it is perhaps not as good as the sum of its parts.
