Commercial Description:
PALM Ale has long been one of Europe’s top-selling specialty beers. Made with English hops, French Barley, and Belgian yeast, PALM represents the best of European beer-making traditions. It’s the roasted Champagne Malt which gives PALM its amber color, but without being heavy. Also available bottle-conditioned as Palm Hergist.

It’s OK, but feels a bit like a mass-market version of a true Belgian. Man, I’m not doing so hot on this trip to London!

Amber in color with a biscuity malty earthy aroma. Flavour makes me think of a maltier Czech Pilsner, complete with the Saaz hit and slightly metallic.

Clear amber colour with a thick lasting white head and sticky lacing. Aroma is quite spicy, cherry and fruits, caramel and toffee along with a bit of honey. Flavour is malty, biscuity with spicy hops and fruitiness. Slight soapiness. Really reminds me more of an English-style bitter than any other Belgian I’ve ever had.

Pours a nice amber colour with no head (my bad) . Very light in the aroma deptartment some caramel. The taste was fairly staightforward, crisp carbonation, some caramel , hops, dry finish. Average but quite drinkable.

Well I really like the nose on this one..lots of malt blended with fruity hops...I expected a big taste. taste is good, but actually mild,a sweet beer, mild malt with a fruit middle and a malt finish...good but not special. Lots of carbonation helps this one along giving it a slightly better drinkability.

Amber coloured beer with a good head. The aroma is sweet, fruity, and malty. Flavor is soft, sweet with some nice maltblend, and slightly bitter. A really good tasty basic amber.

Somewhat fruity and caramelly but a bit flat in the aroma. Clear copper coloured with strong, off-white head that recedes to thick cover while coating the sides of the glass. Caramel malt flavour up front with some dark sugar fruitiness and a light bitterness in the finish. Lasting fruit on the tongue. Overall quite sweet. Light-medium body and rather quaffable. It’s very easy to drink if somewhat simple and sweet. Bottle (Palm Export 5.2%).
