On Tap at the Bear & Billet, Chester 05/04/2008 Lots of carbonation. Floral and hop aromas. Golden coloured a little rich on the palate and sour with a crisp and slightly dry full malt finish.

On tap at the Morissey House in London, ON- A deep copper pour, has a frothy beige cap that is long lived and leaves nice lace. Simple nose of malts, some dark bread, a bit of fruit, some spice. Tastes sweet and malty, a bit of fruit with a touch of spicy hops. Simple, creamy and fruity finish. Medium light body. Ok.

Poured a clear, medium copper colour with a prolific foamy white head which produced some excellent lacing, some of the best I’ve ever seen. Aroma was very delicate, being barely floral along with some spices and fruit. Taste was fruity, I’m guessing perhaps apricot or plum perhaps, with a slight sweetness.

Location: Had this one at a few different places, last time I believe was a few months back on tap at a bar in NYC

Overall Impression: It is an alright example of the Belgian Ale style, but there are better ones out there. The good news here is mostly about availability and price, not so much the beer itself. Take that for what it is.
