Mouthfeel is thin. Lightly malty with a very effervescent mouth feel. Sweet and watery aftertaste. eh. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

From a 12 oz bottle poured light yellow with not head or lacing. Nose of corn. Mouthfeel of tap water. Flavor of corn. Not a very enjoyable beer. After tasting the rest went down the drain. It is rare I do that to beer. Strykzone (1496), Wood River, Illinois, USA

Looks like a Pale Lager, alright. Musty earthy aroma. Light tasting. One you could drink all day long, that is if there isn’t any real beer around. DownsouthGav (601), Greater London, England

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Bottle, 12 oz. Golden color with a nice white, foamy head. Good lacing. Aroma of malt and hops. Not very bitter. Goes down fairly smooth. Not a lot of complexity here, but it would be a nice session thirst quencher on the beach in Brazil. When I think of this shiny brown bottle and the name "palma louca," I immediately think of a palmetto bug. For those of you who don’t know what one is, it is a very large cockroach found in Florida. Pours pale gold, with a frothy white head. Smells of lager hops and cotton. Watery, malt taste, spent grain, not much carbonation. I can’t imagine this being enjoyable, even if I was in Rio looking at naked Brazillian women with bronzed skin frolicking on Copacabana. Terrible hogwash.
