Clear, light yellow, fine, white head. Aroma is kind of sweet and oddly popcorn-like. Mouthfeel is thin. Lightly malty with a very effervescent mouth feel. Sweet and watery aftertaste. eh.

Oh goodness, this is not as good as Bud. From a 12 oz bottle poured light yellow with not head or lacing. Nose of corn. Mouthfeel of tap water. Flavor of corn. Not a very enjoyable beer. After tasting the rest went down the drain. It is rare I do that to beer.

Thanks Daknole! Light gold body with a short lasting white head and some steady carbonation. Looks like a Pale Lager, alright. Musty earthy aroma. Light tasting. One you could drink all day long, that is if there isn’t any real beer around.

Piss yellow. Small white head. Aroma of corn. Very thin mouth of blah. It was not a total waste but almost.

Bottle, 12 oz. Golden color with a nice white, foamy head. Good lacing. Aroma of malt and hops. Not very bitter. Goes down fairly smooth. Not a lot of complexity here, but it would be a nice session thirst quencher on the beach in Brazil.

Why oh why did I want to give this a try. When I think of this shiny brown bottle and the name "palma louca," I immediately think of a palmetto bug. For those of you who don’t know what one is, it is a very large cockroach found in Florida. Pours pale gold, with a frothy white head. Smells of lager hops and cotton. Watery, malt taste, spent grain, not much carbonation. I can’t imagine this being enjoyable, even if I was in Rio looking at naked Brazillian women with bronzed skin frolicking on Copacabana. Terrible hogwash.
