Bottle. Pours sparkling light yellow with a small frothy white head, somewhat lasting, fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, cereal), light hops (herbs), average yeast (sweat) with notes of apple. Light bodied, watery texture, average carbonation and a chalky finish. Light sweetness, acidity and bitterness.

Very sweet aroma, but the beer itself is not. It has a somewhat foul finish, but other than that it is pleasant. It is pretty fizzy on the tongue.

Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, poor lacing, visible carbonation, transparent, and a yellow hue. Nose was malt and corn and ditto for flavor. Slightly tingly mouthfeel. Light body. Nothing going on with this brew. It is what it is.

Typically weak entry from South America...corn adjuncts and cheap malts. The nice touch here is it has a fairly dry finish as opposed to the horrible corn syrup sweetness I’ve come to expect from these brews. This actually was probably better than I give it credit for.

So a guy I once called my friend picked up this trash for me. Unfortunately for him, this bottle of swill didn’t kill me, it only made me stronger. Now, one man must embark on an epic journey to exact vengeful justice. Anyway, "Palma Louca" is fairly pissy in color. It’s not amazingly clear, but it is quite translucent, yellow, and sports no head at all. The odor is very unpleasant with loads of DMS. Smells of corn, dirty socks, and sucrose emanate from my glass. The taste is a little better in the fact that it is pretty much just sugar and corn with no other strong flavors. No hop presence, nothing. Just sweet, sugary corn. Fairly stomach turning, but it didn’t quite initiate my gag reflex. I hope that the Olfabrikken Porter will be better than this.

Bottle. Straw gold, thin short white head and low condition. Slight fruity maltiness in the nose, thin and grainy in the mouth with a slight fruitiness, short fruity malt finish.

Slight pale golden yellow with a small white head. Apple, lemon, hay and malt. Bit crispy and bitter taste and aroma. Nothing special!

Bottle at Brickskeller. Not so sure about this beer. It’s pretty much the same kind of blandish pale lager that I expect before cracking into one. Gee, a pale lager that tastes stale? I never would have guessed...
