Somewhat aged sample Nearly black beer but with red-beige highlights. Thick-set, very fine head of medium height. Molasses, ink, ketjap, pastry caramel sauce, and some leafy aroma’s. Slight oxidation. Bitter-dryish taste, with a burnt caramel finish, Maillard. Liquorice flavour and burnt. Very slightly sulphurous. Very well-bodied, thick & viscous, with a very light tartness, dry-out. Alcoholwarming, mainly in the aftertaste. Very special & strong Doppelbock. Special thanks to Hubert, the perfect Dutch Sinjoor.

A very deep red beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and cowberries. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of cowberries, leading to a dry end. Nice.

(Bottle 33 cl) Dark mahogany with a reddish tint and a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Malty, lightly nutty aroma. Full-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt. Accents of dried fruit. No real bitterness. 060506
