RSRIZZO (1018), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 22, 2007 Had this beer on 4/23/2003. Aroma is almost not there with a faint hint of malt (very faint). Color is a solid gold with a touch of amber. Good carbonation and a very nice tight head. Taste is plain and lightly bitter. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a creamy feel to start with, but then turns a bit sharp. Finish comes on plain then turns to a sharp feel with a mild malt taste and is backed by a flat bitterness. Overall there just isn’t any flavor. BrewDad (1691), Olympia, Washington, USA Sep 29, 2006 A light bodied brew with a nice hops finish. The color was great and this had a very nice head. Could use some better malts and this would be a winning beer. Brock_Landers (714), Panama City, Florida, USA Dec 31, 2005 Basic gold-amber pour....medium-sized fluffy white head. Nice hop aroma...herbal. Even more bitter hops in the flavor, some decent maltiness in an attempt to balance this act. Nice lingering bitter finish. Not too bad for an IPA...wish it was "more" on all accounts, but it’s still good. BeerandBlues2 (2510), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 12, 2004 Pours amber with a small off-white head. Excellent lacing. Light floral and hop aromas. Bitter hop flavor, dry on the end. Mild and refreshing palate. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 6, 2004 Shiny amber, with a staying cloud of a head. Light hop aroma. Excellent balance here, too. Solid copper malt flavor with a citric-acidic bite. Their best, by far.
