Cask at the Brewery Tap with renffisch. Golden amber with a white lacy head. Aroma starts off floral but then a slightly unpleasant chemical tang becomes apparent. Nothing to the flavour really - bit of malt and hops. Smooth, easy quaffing palate but overall this is bland in excelsis!

Hal pint, cask at Lamb & Flag in Oxford on a quiet Saturday afternoon. Dark amber with bubbles and lacing. Weak in aroma, only some notes of hay and grass. Discreet flavour of caramel malts and dry bitterness. Very average (15.03.2008).

cask @ the tap in wim village. Reddish amber, white lacy head. Didnt smell of anything really, but tasted really sweet and almondy, bit like marzipan but unpleasant. short palate, rubbish really...

Cask conditioned - handpump - Lamb and Flag, Oxford. A copper coloured beer with an off-white head and some lacing. The aroma is lightly hoppy with soapy notes. The taste is fruity and again has hints of hop. Not much to report.

A Mes rate: Cask at the Lamb and Flag, Oxford during the RB pub crawl.
Copper coloured with a thin white head. Totally bland and boring aroma with some very slight hops. Very sweet in the mouth with lots of marzipan and cake. Dull finish. OMG save me from this mediocrity!
